I grew up in a small town in the beautiful Garden Route. As much as I wouldn’t change my childhood, I can’t deny that I looked forward to living in a city with its infinite possibilities. In the end, my husband and I went back to that little town to get married. It was a weekend full of laughter, conversation, eating, storytelling and bonding I will always cherish.

I remember feeling so tired in the weeks leading up to my wedding and wishing I had someone professional I could turn to for help and guidance, not to mention someone I trusted enough to actually take the reigns and make it all happen!

My big ‘ah-ha’ moment came when I realized that even after all the craziness of managing our out-of-town weekend wedding affair, I had the desire to do it all over again (with a few tweaks), and that’s when I knew I had found my passion. To this day, taking my brides towards the ceremony area, fluffing their dresses and veils before they walk down the aisle to their loved one, is a moment of pure joy for me.

My life motto: “Seek to be worth knowing rather than well known”.
I am an absolute lover of fairytales – Rapunzel in the Tangled movie is my all-time favourite.
I have a weakness for saving dogs-in-need.
I am slightly OCD – but that’s a good thing for you because I will naturally pay superb attention to detail.
When I commit to something, I do so with passion, authenticity and determination.
